Meet Our Doctors
Lisa Feinstein, DVM
Dr. Lisa Feinstein grew up in Miami with a household of animals, from pet mice and gold fish to dogs and cats and even horses. She always knew that her career would be veterinary medicine. She attended Princeton University (Biology major 1995) and Tufts University for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Masters in Public Health (1999). She has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery ever since, first in Miami and then in Broward when she married her husband. She practiced at Stetzer Animal Hospital in Coral Springs from 2000 to 2008 and then when the practice closed, she moved to Plantation Animal Hospital. Dr. Lisa practiced in Plantation until October 2015 and is now happy to work at Camelot Animal Hospital. All animals are interesting to her. She has 3 human children, along with 1 dog, 3 cats, 3 turtles, and 6 chickens and 1 turkey in her animal family.
Marcelle Dias, Dvm
Dr. Dias was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She moved to the US for the first time when she was 18 years old and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University in 2001. Dr. Dias returned to Brazil and earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She also became licensed in Veterinary Medicine in the US in 2009. She worked as a D.V.M. in Brazil until she moved to South Florida, where she lives with her husband and two little girls. She is fluent in English and Portuguese, and “understands a little Spanish”. Currently, Dr. Dias splits her time between Camelot Animal Hospital and Boarding Kennel in Davie, and other hospitals that call her for relief services from time to time.
Meet Our Staff
Amber
Veterinary Technician
Amber was born and raised in Davie, FL. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with an animal science major on a pre-veterinary track which, she will be continuing at UF in the fall of 2021, as a veterinary student. Amber has chosen to work in the veterinary field because she loves working with animals. She enjoys working at Camelot Animal Hospital because she works with a great team and is able to get some great animal exposure with all our fantastic patients. In her free time, Amber enjoys sports and fishing. She has three dogs here at home, Cinnamon a 15-year-old Sheltie mix, Faith a 3-year-old Labrador mix and Pancake a 3-year old mix.
Elissa
Practice Manager
Elissa is originally from New Jersey but moved to South Florida in 1999. A former student at FIU and a licensed esthetician, Elissa is happy to be back in the environment where she feels the most comfortable; working with animals and their owners. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, watching movies, reading, and genealogy. She has 3 kids and many animals including Arya a 2-year-old American Bully, Ripley, a 4-month old American Bully, Loki a 5-year-old Rottweiler, Sugar a 10-year-old Rottweiler mix, 6 cats, 3 ferrets, 4 tortoises, 1 turtle, and a fish! Elissa likes working at Camelot Animal Hospital because the staff are friendly and she enjoys meeting new people and their pets.
Emira
Certified Veterinary Technician/Lead Ophthalmology Technician
Emira is a Certified Veterinary Technician who graduated from City College. She is a married with two boys and is originally from Venezuela, where she was a journalist. Emira chose to change professions when she came to the United States with her family. There was opportunity for her to follow the dream she had since childhood of working with animals. She has a female domestic short hair cat, named Maggie. In her free time, Emira enjoys scrapbooking, photography, movies, and walks.

Eric
Kennel Assistant
Eric was born in Gainsville, GA but has been raised in Florida most of his life. His favorite animal is snakes. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, skateboarding, gaming, and watching movies. He’s chosen to work in veterinary medicine because he feels the urge to help those who can’t help themselves. At home, Eric has 4 Crested Geckos named Ginger, Tiger, Khonshu, and Ilias. Eric loves working at Camelot because of the education he is receiving from the knowledgeable staff. He also enjoys working with the boarding animals and getting to interact with the variety of dog breeds that come in.
Jennifer
Receptionist
Jennifer is a native Floridian who grew up in North Miami Beach and currently resides in Pembroke Pines. She worked at FIU for 31 years in various capacities and recently retired to pursue her dream of working with animals. Jennifer received her BA in Business Administration from Barry University and her Master’s in Adult Education from FIU. She enjoys walking, listening to 80’s music, spending time with her parents and two children, and traveling. Jennifer has chosen to work in veterinary medicine because she has grown up with animals and has always loved them. Her dream has been to make a difference in their lives even if it was in a small way. She loves working at Camelot because it appears to be a very well respected organization which provides high quality care to the animals and good service to their owners. Everyone she works with is friendly and helpful. Jennifer has owned guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils and ferrets. Her favorite animal is a dog. At home she currently has 4 rescue dogs named Frank, Scooby, Athena, and Scrappy and 1 rescue cat named Hassan.
Kathy Bailey
Hospital Administrator
Kathy is a Florida native and moved to Davie to become hospital administrator for Camelot Animal Hospital in 2010. She brings to this position her experience as a curriculum and project manager, urban planner and business coach. While Kathy has no pets of her own, she is “Aunt Kathy” to the many furry friends at Camelot, in her family and around her neighborhood. “I am proud to work at Camelot because the staff are committed to giving excellent veterinary care and are so compassionate – we’ve got a special group.” In her spare time Kathy enjoys cycling, singing, taiji, movies and reading.
Kayleigh
Kennel Assistant
Kayleigh is a native Floridian. She is the oldest of 4 siblings and recently graduated high school. She is currently attending college with the intentions of becoming a Marine Biologist. Kayleigh as a special interest in Art. She has chosen to work in Veterinary Medicine to help animals and her favorite part of working at Camelot is meeting all of our different patients that come in. Kayleigh has many pets at home including Loki her Rottweiler, Shelby her Pit Mix, 3 cats – Pooh, Kitten and Toes, and three ferrets – Otto, Martin and Croqueta.
Martina
Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Martina was born in Argentina and moved to South Florida when she was 5. She, her husband, and their two children all love animals, especially dogs. When Martina has the time, she helps to rescue, foster, and adopt dogs out. Her other hobbies include crafting, working on her car, and motorsports. Martina chose to work in the veterinary field because she has always loved helping animals. She was looking for a career change and landed here at Camelot Animal Hospital. Martina enjoys working with her amazing coworkers who teach her new things every day. “I love the atmosphere; everyone truly cares about the animals and the wonderful clients.” Martina has two dogs, Mika, a 9-year-old lab. mix., Halo, a 9-year-old Redtick Coonhound, and thirteen chickens.
Michelle
Receptionist
Michelle was raised in Miami, FL. She is married with two children. Her oldest is on the way to college to study Marine Biology and her youngest loves to play lacrosse. Her favorite animals include horses, dogs, tigers, bears and stingrays. Michelle loves to ride horses, go target shooting, cooking and watch scary movies. Michelle has always been interested in animal husbandry and feels fortunate and blessed that she was chosen to be part of the Camelot team.She loves the atmosphere and working with fun and smart colleagues. Her fur babies at home include a German Shepherd named Gina and a toy Australian Shepherd named Bruno.
Noël
Lead Veterinary Technician/Medical Coordinator
Noël was born Brooklyn, New York and moved to Florida in 2014. She studied biology and sociology at Long Island University and earned her Bachelor’s degree. She loves all animals, but has a particular fondness for turtles and tortoises especially Panzer and Thor who are Sulcata tortoises; and Olive, a Three Toed Box turtle. Noël recently added a mixed breed dog named Tilly and a Domestic short hair kitten named Finn to her family. In her spare time, Noël likes to listen to music, sing, and ride horses. Noël has had a passion for veterinary medicine since she was very young. She chose to pursue the nursing side of veterinary medicine and has discovered that this is her true calling. Noël has been working in this industry since 2001. She loves working for Camelot Animal Hospital because she works with a dedicated team of professionals who are always raising the bar with their knowledge and standard or care.
Samantha
Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
Samantha is an aspiring nursing student currently attending Broward College. She has always loved animals and wants to do anything she can to help them. Samantha was born in New York and moved to South Florida with her family. Her favorite type of animals are pigs and cows, though she doesn’t have any. Instead, she has Pipi, an All American Canary who is 8-9 years old; and Izzy and Teddy who are 9-year-old Isabella and Piebald Dachshunds respectively. Her hobbies include knitting and playing music. Sam enjoys working at Camelot because she gets to enjoy the clients, patients, and her co-workers.
Skittles
Queen of Camelot
Skittles is our hospital cat. Dr. Pellicane found her at Tree Tops Park all alone and hungry. She took her in and Skittles has been Queen of Camelot ever since. She spends most days relaxing on Dr. Pellicane’s desk, sleeping in her cardboard box, or watching the staff eat their lunch.
